As known, Maud Gatewood’s works express something complicatedly rather than express something directly. In this painting, Maud Gatewood’s shows that comfortable family who is protected by natural fence. Also, it shows the harmony between human being and natural element. There are also elements which are circle and vertical elements. These are manipulated by the model of circular shape of comfortable and protective structure. These are shown in the model as using two elements which also show the concept of the model.
